Happy Sunday everyone! I know that you all have come to expect some fairly light hearted pop star illustrations from me, but today’s post is a little different. I recently read the book “I Am Malala”, the story of Malala Yousafzai who would not be silenced by the Taliban and stood up for girls’ education. I found her story so inspiring that I felt compelled to paint a picture of her as the smiling, educated and brave girl that she is. This painting and prints of it are now on sale in my Etsy shop (link in bio) and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Malala fund.
